Happy's Vet carries radiology equipment on board the mobile hospital, so images are captured and reviewed with veterinarian during the same home visit rather than requiring a referral to a separate imaging facility.
When radiology helps
X-ray is often the fastest route from a worrying symptom to a clear picture of what is happening inside.
Bones & joints

Most X-rays are taken without sedation. Whether it is needed depends on your pet's temperament and the area being imaged — veterinarian discusses this with you beforehand if it is likely to come up.
Digital images are available for review within moments of being captured, so findings are normally discussed with you during the same appointment.

Diagnostic X-ray uses a very low radiation dose and is a routine part of veterinary medicine. Dr. Jones will always explain why an image is being recommended before proceeding.
