Diagnostics — Mobile Vet Jacksonville & St. Johns County

A full veterinary lab, parked outside your door.

Bloodwork and lab panels run on board our mobile hospital during your visit — not boxed up and couriered to an outside facility. Most results are ready before we leave your driveway.

On-board veterinary laboratory equipment inside the Happy's Vet mobile hospital in Jacksonville, Florida Results in minutes

Quick Answer

A full diagnostic laboratory on site means blood panels, urinalysis, and parasite testing are processed inside the mobile veterinary hospital during your appointment, rather than sent to a third-party lab. For pet owners across Jacksonville and St. Johns County, that usually turns a multi-day wait for results into a same-visit answer.

How on-site lab testing works

Because the laboratory travels with the veterinarian, the distance between a sample and an answer is measured in minutes.

1

A sample is collected

Blood, urine, or a fecal sample is taken during the visit — often the same appointment where the concern first came up.

2

It runs on board

In-house analysers process the sample inside the mobile hospital, with no courier and no external lab schedule to wait on.

3

Results reviewed together

Veterinarian walks you through what the numbers mean and what happens next, usually within the same appointment.

Common questions about in-house lab testing

What on-site veterinary laboratory testing involves, and how quickly you get answers.

For the panels we run in-house, yes — the analysers are the same category used in traditional clinics. A small number of highly specialised tests still go to an external reference lab, and we tell you plainly when that is the case.

Most in-house panels are ready within the same appointment. That is the whole reason the laboratory travels with us rather than sitting in a building across town.

No. Diagnostic testing is built into wellness exams and sick visits rather than being its own appointment type.

Every tier includes annual screening; Plus adds basic panels and Premier adds expanded comprehensive testing. Compare them on the Wellness Plans page.
